extrapolation software, upsizing in photoshop, interpolation softwareSoftware: Upsizing & Extrapolation

Preferably you should make all your pictures in the resolution that you need later, in order to make a great print with a resolution of 300 dpi or more. But unfortunately that is not possible for enlargements. For a high quality (300 dpi) print of 50 by 75 centimeters, you'll need about 54 million (6000 to 9000) pixels. In itself this is not a problem, because a print of 50 to 75 cm is almost always viewed from a larger distance, allowing a resolution of 150 dpi to be more than enough to leave a sharp impression on the viewer. But even then you'll need 15 million (3000 to 4500) pixels for a 50 to 75 cm print. If you take a picture with less pixels, but still print it at 50 by 75 cm, then the individual pixels printed become so large that square pixels might be seen.
